If you’re even a little bit familiar with this blog, you’ll notice right away that I’ve made some changes. The condensed version is that three years ago, I took the plunge and upgraded from a free blog to an honest to goodness website, which gave me a ton of flexibility. While the flexibility gave me a chance to try out new things and get my feet wet in the world of big time blogging, after learning how much work goes into keeping a profitable blog going (an incredible, impossible amount), I knew it wasn’t for me. I’m a hobbyist blogger, no two ways about it. When it was time to renew my blogging platform plan, I didn’t. I took a step back into the uncomplicated world of hobby blogging and really, all that SEO stuff, with stats and keywords, passive voice and word counts, just made me feel nervous and obsessive. Yep, definitely not my thing. I’m back to blogging for fun and if it’s seldom perfect, well, I’m over it and happy. 😀

It was love at first sight when I saw this sweater. I love everything about it, but I especially love the thumb holes on the sleeves. Lots of cabling and just a lot of sweater; hopefully it will be finished before summer and I can wear it at least once…
It feels good to be blogging again!
It has never been my object to record my dreams, just to realize them. Man Ray
